Who is this portrait for?

Your answers are saved on this device, so you can continue whenever you like. Check your birth time on your birth certificate or hospital records, or ask someone close to you.

Why does birth time matter?

Your date and birthplace tell Astral where everything was. The time tells it which way you were facing.

That orientation sets the twelve houses — the areas of life each position falls into — and it pins the Moon, which moves about half a degree an hour. With an exact time, Astral reads seventeen positions and the houses. Without one, it reads twelve, estimates the Moon, and leaves the houses out.

It never guesses at the houses. The Moon is the one thing it estimates, and only from the hours you can vouch for.
